The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless is excited to announce new and engaging training opportunities for 2019. Thanks to the Callahan Foundation, we have been able to expand our training portfolio this year. We are using this support to address broader needs in our community that have been identified by our members. We hope that you can take advantage of these opportunities. Read MoreParticipants will gain an understanding of the youth homelessness system in Cuyahoga County, including the housing and other needed resources available to young adults. Participants will learn how a racial and ethnic equity and inclusion lens is used in the youth homeless system, as well as strategies being applied to reduce disparities and work towards equity. Participants will increase knowledge of adolescent brain development and its impact on young people experiencing homelessness. Participants will gain skills to increase their ability to authentically engage young people and partner with them in systems change.
