Street Voices

This program, which has been in existence for ten years, is made up of homeless and formerly homeless speakers who want to share their stories. we reach schools, churches, synagogues, and organizations

The Street Chronicle

We publish a street newspaper which is written and sold by people that have experienced homelessness. They sell newspapers and make $1.00 on every paper they sell. This program alone has put many to work.

Outreach Program

We send trained and informed outreach workers out to build trusting relationships with people who are homeless, to assist them in acquiring food, housing, blankets, clothing, boots, identification, medical, dental, and mental health care.

Homeless Memorial

Every year, we host a candlelight vigil to remember anyone who spend time homeless in our community who passed away in the last year. The Homeless Memorial is on the first night of winter.

Affordable Housing

We organizing and host Cuyahoga Affordable Housing Alliance and market the affordable housing website clevelandhousing.org to make sure that affordable housing is a priority in the community.

Homeless Congress

The Homeless Congress is a meeting held between NEOCH and residents of Cleveland’s homeless shelters and those resistance to shelters. It is a way for a diverse group of homeless people to come together, share ideas, make connections, and push for changes.
