NEOCH Winter Appeal 2024

Dear Friend,

As the year comes to a close, we thank you for standing with us to build a community rooted in love and mutual aid. Together, we’ve provided life-saving support to hundreds of people experiencing homelessness and have organized for long-term changes toward housing justice. Thanks to your support, we have grown NEOCH into a more powerful and loving organization.

Whether it is a person sleeping under a bridge that needs support to get into a safe place, or a rental building in such disrepair that it threatens the livelihood of tenants, we show up to support, organize, and demand solutions. We cannot stop now and can only continue with your support.

The coming years will be challenging for the people we serve. For our community to thrive, The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless must remain unwavering in its mission to protect the dignity and safety of unhoused individuals while working to eliminate the discrimination and systemic oppression that drive homelessness. Our work will be essential. Your partnership will be too.

Many of us at NEOCH know the urgency of this work firsthand. Every day, our outreach staff shows up with compassion and integrity to help people find safety and housing. When tenants are faced with illegal evictions or unsafe living conditions, our housing justice organizers are there to support them and push for solutions. We are committed to showing up for real people struggling to survive today, while also advocating for policies that affirm human rights and create lasting access to safe, inclusive housing.

Today, we are inviting you to invest in a community that believes we can create a world without homelessness that centers love and dignity. Your donation will go directly to funding our critical work so we can keep showing up to create a society where everyone has a safe and stable place to call home where they can also embrace their own power and dignity.

By donating to NEOCH today, you are making a decision to believe in this society and work to create it together.

With deep gratitude,

Chris Knestrick
