Participants will be introduced to the basic components of Trauma Informed Care. They will gain an understanding of the lived experience of people who carry trauma with them, and learn to assess compassion fatigue and burnout.
Part 2: Best Practices
Thursday Dec. 16, 3-5 PM
Participants will learn three levels of TIC practices: from one-on-one with a client, to communicating with peers, to supervising and setting administrative procedures. They will break into small groups to discuss techniques, and practice using them.
